Do you travel?
This is the most popular question we get! Safety is our #1 priority, so every dog is kept on a leash for the duration of the shoot. The leashes are then removed in Photoshop during editing.
*Almost all collars can be removed as well, however full harnesses can't always be removed. If you have a breed that requires a harness, please consider bringing a collar and leash to try or selecting a harness that you wouldn't mind appearing in the final images.
I'll get in touch a couple of days before the shoot (after consulting the weather forecast) and if it looks like rain we can reschedule for a different day that works for you!
Of course! You are your dog's family, so it makes perfect sense to want to capture some special images together. However, it is worth noting that as a pet photographer, my main focus is on your dog. Therefore, the majority of the shoot will be spent photographing your pet and the images that include humans is a small percent of the final gallery.
All shoots are done outdoors and we usually like to stick to quiet and natural environments, such as nature trails or parks. If you prefer an urban look and want to explore the city, we can also find locations that would fit your needs. Just keep in mind that for city locations, your dog should be able to handle the stimuli of noises or the occasional passerby.
Regardless of where the shoot takes place, we highly recommend and encourage all pets be up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick preventions approved by your veterinarian.
Approximately 2-3 weeks after your shoot, your edited images will be available for viewing in a private online gallery that I will direct you to. While there, you will be able to download your high resolution files and place orders for wall art of your choosing.
Yes! We love traveling and have been to numerous locations within PA and have also shot in Ohio, Virginia, Maryland, and New York!
*Our session price includes locations within a 70 mile radius from Johnstown, Pa. Locations beyond this will require an additional traveling fee. Contact us for a quote!
